About si_news

A free headline index of tech news, AI first. No ads, no tracking, no accounts.

What it is

si_news collects headlines from official publisher feeds every few hours and sorts them by company and topic. Each headline links straight to the original article; si_news never copies article text, images or feed descriptions. Headlines stay for 30 days.

Sources and attribution

Every headline shows the name of its source. These are the sources in use today, each read through the official feed it publishes:

Editorial policy

How sources are chosen. Only official feeds that a publisher offers. Before a feed is used, its robots.txt and terms of use are read. A feed is used when the terms allow it, or when the terms are unclear but the publisher itself links that feed from its own pages. Sources whose terms forbid automated reading, or that block automated reading, are left out. Nothing behind a login or a paywall is read.

How headlines are tagged. Companies and topics come from fixed rules that read the headline only, written and tested by hand. No AI is used for tagging.

Corrections. If a headline is tagged wrongly, links to the wrong place, or a source should not be here, please write to the address below. A fix is made by correcting the rule or the source, so the same mistake does not come back.

AI disclosure

Summaries on this site are written by AI. Under some headlines a short summary, labelled "AI summary", is written by one AI model from the publisher's own title and feed description, then checked by two other AI models and by fixed rules: every detail has to be backed by words in that source, and anything that is not is dropped. Headlines with no summary are shown as the publisher wrote them. The summary is ours; the publisher's description is never shown.

An AI model vote also helps order the Top stories on the home page. Editor pins always come first.

Every other word on the site was written by a person.
